CAOx has as its main aims:
- To provide a single, legal entity with which funding agencies can engage.
- To promote and develop a more effective and efficient delivery of advice services across the County.
- To develop and manage effective partnerships with other organisations.
- To exercise greater influence on local and national policies and services, to the benefit of the community
- To create opportunities for the 8 member bureaux to access new sources of funding.
- To work with Citizens Advice nationally to develop strategy and promote innovation.
- To ensure consistent delivery of services to reach and satisfy those in most need of support.
- To raise the profile of our member bureaux and the CAB service throughout the county.
CAOx consists of a Board of Trustees drawn from the constituent
Bureaux Trustees with an independent Chair. All CAOx initiatives are
delivered through the Bureaux.
